I have a special love for the state of Pennsylvania, dating back to my undergraduate years in college. I completed my Bachelors Degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 1992 and have worked in the greater Philadelphia area serving adolescents and young adults throughout Pennsylvania. Through my professional career I have worked extensively with children who have experienced abuse. I developed a subspecialty interest in adolescent health and am an expert on how families can foster resiliency for their children and adolescents. I use a collaborative approach in my practice. I work closely with my patients and their parents to assess, diagnose, and treat ADHD, PTSD, chemical dependency and mood disorders. My specialties focus on ADHD, Depression and Anxiety. I am also trained in the medical management of adolescents and young adults with substance abuse disorders. I provide medication-assisted treatment with Suboxone/Bupinorphine. I believe in establishing a therapeutic alliance with all of my patients. I work with each family to develop the best evidence-based treatment strategies to meet their identified goals.
